Our client is located downtown Ottawa and is looking to hire a current Commercial TSR or Commercial Junior CSR. They will provide training in mid to large commercial accounts. Excellent for someone career minded and looking to grow their career. Their office is modern, fun & dynamic!

What you will learn in this role:

Market renewals using standard submission forms & create specialized submissions.

How to provide the complete customer service experience for clients in the assigned book of business including handling general inquiries, managing policy changes, reviewing policy documents, reporting and following up on claims and processing certificates of insurance per standards and guidelines.

Learn to oversee the preparation of insurance summaries, premium comparisons and other supporting documentation for clients

How to effectively ensure all abeyances are properly managed to ensure clients receive policy documents and other information on a timely basis

The best approach to assist with the collection of outstanding accounts receivables

Effective documentation practices for client and underwriter communication in the Broker Management System

What you should already know and have:

Post-secondary education is an asset

RIBO Licence in good standing

C.A.I.B and/or C.I.P Designation or working towards

1-2 years Commercial Insurance experience

Above average Microsoft Office skills and working knowledge of broker management systems
