Commercial Account Manager/Marketer

 Position Overview

 

  • Review renewal documents 
  • Market commercial business for the office 
  • Report and monitor client claims 
  • Respond to telephone inquiries, take and order policy changes 
  • Preparation of Renewal binders and certificates 
  • Ensure high level of service is maintained 
  • Remarket when necessary 
  • Cross-sell and up-sell

 

Position Requirements

 

  • 2 -5 years’ Commercial insurance experience 
  • Valid RIBO license is mandatory 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills 
  • Accuracy and attention to detail 
  • Understanding of company underwriting, and guidelines 
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, experience with Broker Management Systems, industry software and Compu-quote an asset
